Introduction

My name is Marieke Bandsma. With 20+ years of working experience in education, I am passionate about guiding and teaching children. During my career, I have had a focus on working with children with speech language disorders and pupils from abroad who want to learn the Dutch language.

In the first phase of my career, I worked diligently in special education, where I took on the challenge of supporting children with speech language disorders in their learning. This was an inspiring experience where I learned how important patience, understanding and individual attention are for the development of these children.

My expertise

In recent years, I have expanded my expertise by working as a teacher in a language class. Here, I teach Dutch to children from various countries from all continents. It is my mission to help these children acquire the Dutch language so that they can optimally integrate and participate in our society.

My passion

I would like to use my passion for education and my experience to offer online Dutch lessons. I believe learning should be enjoyable and meaningful, and I strive to create an environment where children feel safe and at ease. My online Dutch lessons will always be tailored to the specific needs and skill levels of each child, to provide an optimal learning experience.
